We initiated conducting training programs in our new training centre at Sira. The very first training conducted for women from 15 self help groups belong to Pavagada Taluk. The budget was borne under the Tribal Development project assisted by NABARD. It was 2 days residential training subjected cluster group concept, unity, conflict resolution, communication and leadership. Total 30 women attended the program.
After the first day session, all the participants visited nearby temple. The actual feedback of first day sessions obtained in night.
All of them did 30 minutes dhyanam, under the guidance of Sri.Bhaskar, Project Director MOTHER. After dhyana they took 10 minutes rest and they began singing folk songs. It was stopped by a group game musical chair. Four-five senior women were also there in the team. First they refused to join the team to play musical chair. After first round, they joined it voluntarily. Winner was 35-38 aged and runner was 60 year old.
The spirit of the team went high, they started singing and dancing. Seniors also did not stay behind. Two of them started dancing with the group. They danced and danced. Indeed they were remembering the steps to young ones! ..
Afterwards, arranged food for them. After lunch we went home, watching their glowing faces.
Next day morning, while collecting previous day learning, we came to know that they were discussing about sustaining their groups and continued dancing and singing upto 2 AM!!
They returned with a clear vision in their mind.
