When selecting beneficiaries in Sira Town for Ministry of Minority Affairs assisted NAI ROSHINI scheme, we have had thinking that Leadership development is more needed in rural villages than urban.
But in the first day of training itself it is came to know that we have selected right areas for the training. There is no difference between urban and rural when it comes to women exposure out of the door.
As of now, completed three trainings and introduced different departments and schemes for women. After the training women expressed – “we did not know some departments, we had fear about court. During the training we interacted with the departments at their offices. Now we know the schemes and way of approaching departments. Sure, we will try to get benefit of the schemes”.
They have become confident and approaching different departments to avail benefits.
