Marketing and linkages
The MOTHER is serving majorly in the rural areas through agriculture and women development programs since establishment. To bring value to the rural products, marketing and linkages is very important. Marketing is very helpful in transfer, exchange and movement of goods. And linkages is essential to build a sustainable marketing channel.
The Community Based Organizations such as FPOs formed by the MOTHER are working as micro hubs for rural products. The Objective of these hubs is to transform the Grama panchayats into revenue generating activities with processing and non processing units, Achieve self sufficiency and market of food grains, pulses, oilseeds, fruits and vegetables and to contribute to National GDP.
The FPOs have opened rural marts in their working areas to support marketing of rural agri producers and artisans.
