Multipurpose Organization for Training, Health, Education and Rehabilitation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1995 with an aim "Empowerment of Rural Poor".
Having its Head office located in Sira town of Tumkur District, Karnataka, has nearly 3 decades of work experience in development of rural sector through 74 programs. The Organization has implemented various developmental programs in 10 districts - Tumkur, Chitradurga, Dharwad, Ballari, Vijayanagara, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Hassan and Bidar of Karnataka and Satyasai District of Andhrapradesh.
MOTHER believes that rural community can develop meaningfully only if environmental sustainability and social equity are guaranteed. So, its activities are focused to ensure conservation of soil and water, alternative forms of livelihood development, sustainable agriculture and assist local people in empowering themselves to manage their natural resources and social aspects.
